What We Believe
The Nature of God
He is one God, eternal, omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (all-present).
He exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit— known as the Trinity.
He is sovereign, holy, and good.
He has supreme authority over all creation and His perfect character is loving and just.
Jesus Christ
He is the Son of God, fully God and fully human.
He is the long-awaited Messiah, the Savior of humanity, who came to earth to reconcile humanity to God.
His life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ are foundational to Christian theology, representing the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan for humanity and the hope of salvation for all who believe in Him.
Scripture
It is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, containing the revelation of God’s will and truth for humanity. The Scriptures, composed of the Old and New Testaments, serve as the ultimate authority for faith and practice.
It is God’s self-revelation to humanity, providing guidance, wisdom, and instruction for all aspects of life.
We are called to study, interpret, and apply the teachings of Scripture in our daily lives.
Salvation
We are sinful and separated from God, but salvation is available through faith in Jesus Christ.
It is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Christ alone.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ provided the basis for salvation, as His sacrificial death on the cross atones for the sins of humanity and offers forgiveness and reconciliation with God.
The Church
The body of Christ, composed of believers who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
Called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and demonstrate God’s love to the world.
We are called to fellowship, worship, and service within the context of the local church, as well as to remain unified across denominational and cultural lines.
The Second Coming
Jesus Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead, to renew creation, and to establish His eternal kingdom.
